DownClub Help
I've compiled a collection of help files which should be able to answer any questions you may have about the website and its features. If you still can't find the answer to your question in here, please contact one of the website admins who should be able to help you with your query.
DownClub Levels
What are they?
In a similar fashion to the military, you can now progress through the ranks of DownClub! The levels are a reflection of what you've contributed to the DownClub community and take into account many of the ways in which your time on DownClub is spent.
score
First of all, we calculate your score. The score is out of a maximum possible 100 points and collects information from 7 different areas. The areas are profile validation, gallery size, forum posts, donations, guestbook comments left, guestbook comments received and reviews written. The table below shows how the points are broken down for each section.
| Profile Validation | 10 | This is an easy one. If all the fields on your profile are complete and valid, it will be marked as complete by a website admin and you will achieve these 10 points. |
| Gallery Size | 40 | For every 10 photos, you get 1 point up to a maximum of 40. If you have 400 or more photos, you get the full 40 points. Scoring only applies to approved photos. |
| Forum Posts | 10 | For every 10 forum posts, you get 1 point up to a maximum of 10. If you have made 100 or more posts on the forum, you get the full 10 points. |
| Donations | 10 | For every donation you make, you receive 1 point up to a maximum of 10. If you have made 10 donations or more, you get the full 10 points. |
| Comments Left | 10 | For every 2 comments you leave in other peoples guestbooks, you receive 1 point up to a maximum of 20. If you have made 20 or more guestbook comments, you get the full 10 points. |
| Comments Received | 10 | For every 10 comments you receive in your guestbook, you receive 1 points up to a maximum of 10. If you have received 100 or more guestbook comments, you get the full 10 points. |
| Reviews Written | 10 | For every review you write, you receive 1 point up to a maximum of 10. If you've written 10 reviews, you get the full 10 points. |
Other Information
Due to the complexity of the calculations, the scores and levels are updated once a day at 17:30 GMT. This may change in the future to update in realtime but, for now at least, every 24hrs should be enough.
